Juju Cleanse

Part of my goals for 2012 is to eat healthier, but the last time I checked, I gained 10 pounds more. :( I am still within the ideal weight range (considering my height and age) and I am considered "healthy" according to the BMI healthy weight calculator.  But I still feel unhealthy and sluggish most of the time.  And my waistline doesn't lie!  I've GROWN big(ger) this year. hahaha!

Since I only have 18 days before the year ends, I don't think it's possible for me to achieve my "move more, eat less" goal for 2012.  I plan to start my 2013 by Juju cleansing! :)

As a beginner, I would like to try their Complexion Solo Kit.  Hindi ko pa yata kaya yung 1 day na puro juice lang. hehehe.

Love Letters

This book will definitely be included in my 2012 Christmas wishlist.
random photo from the net

It is a compilation of letters that former US President Ronald Reagan wrote to his wife, Nancy Reagan.  I am a sucker for love letters and sweet short notes. Kahit sa used paper or sa chocolate wrapper pa yan nakasulat, okay lang! hahaha.  In this day and age when it's easier to just send an email message, SMS; or post a message on one's Facebook wall, or tweet someone, I really appreciate getting hand-written letters, cards and notes.  Iba pa din ang may personal touch (ang cheesy! hehe).

Below are some excerpts from the book:

"Darling Mommie Poo,

Feb.14 may be the date they observe and call Valentine's Day, but that is for people of only ordinary luck. I happen to have a
Valentine's life, which started on March 4, 1952, and will continue as long as I have you."

"Dear First Mommie, I'm in Wyoming, Montana - or Nevada depending on what time you read this. But I'll be at Camp David at 9:15 p.m. Friday night. I'll be glad to see you. I miss you - even when I'm asleep. This is a very lonesome place when you are some place else."

"Dear First Lady, As President of the U.S., it is my honor and privilege to cite you for service above and beyond the call of duty in that you have made one man (me) the most happy man in the world for 29 years."

Digital Art (daw!)

I just want to 'show off' my  very first 'digital artwork'.  Merry Chirstmas everyone! Hahaha!

'Eats' all about Chocolates! :p

I'm craving for chocolates.  At dahil masukista yata ako, I've decided to put together a list of all my favorite chocolates! Hahaha.  I would always wish na sana mawala na totally yung bad effects ng chocolates sa human body. Oh well, libre ang mangarap.

This list is in no particular order as my preference usually depends on the mood I'm in. :)  Bon appetit!
1) Reese's Peanut Butter Cups - I just love peanut butter! :)

2)  Ferrero Rocher - Sabi nga ni boyfriend, Ito daw ang chocolate ng nanliligaw.. hehehe.  Pero bakit hindi nya ko binigyan nito? :)

3) Nestle Crunch - I can finish C-R-U-N in 10 seconds.  I take a 2 second-rest and continue munching C-H away in another 5 seconds! hehehe

4) Baci Perugina Chocolates - Thanks to my good friend Mara for introducing me to Baci. I love the dark chocolate and hazelnut combo. :)  And inside the wrapper, you'll find a love quote/expression in a piece of paper. Baci means kisses in Italian. Ang cheeessyyyyy! hahaha!

5)  Royce Name Chocolate - I love how it melts inside my mouth! Sabi nga ni Coco Martin, Yummy! hahaha.

6) Lotte Pepero Nude and Lotte Toppo - New addition to the 'team'. :) I love that they're not too sweet.  I grab these whenever I need a quick sugar fix. hehehe.

7) Whatchamacallit - I miss this chocolate.  I think this has been discontinued.

8) M&M's Peanut Butter and Plain - I want them straight out of the freezer. :)

9) Nestle Alpine White - another discontinued product that I wish would be back.

 10) Hershey's Chocolate with Almonds

11) Toblerone White - Reminds me of childhood.  Hehehe.

12) Fibisco Chocolate Mallows - Kung kulang sa budget..:)

At sabi nga ni Charles M. Schulz, "All you need is love.  But a little chocolate now and then doesn't hurt." This post makes me want to run to the grocery now. hahaha.

Goals for 2012

Since it is already the start of the "Ber Months", I was reminded of how far behind I am, in terms of accomplishing the goals I set for myself this year. Hehehe. This is a perfect time to somehow, re-evaluate my goals (and plans) for 2012.

Listed below are the things I want to achieve before the year ends:
1) Learn how to cook - work in progress :)
2) Eat less, move more
3) Read more
4) Lose weight!
5) Look for a job I will love
6) Live healthy
7) Be more positive

Keep Calm and Carry On

It is hard to stay calm and composed when faced with a situation when fighting back and being rude were an easier option. I'm sooooooooo happy I kept calm and I carried on (I'm so happy, can you count the 'Os'? Hehehe).  Just to give you a quick background, Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster produced by the Government of the United Kingdom in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War, intended to raise the morale of the of British Public in the event of invasion (Source: Wikipedia).

And to quote Dalai Lama, "choose to be optimistic, it feels better".

Let's spread the love everyone! :)
