Goals for 2012

Since it is already the start of the "Ber Months", I was reminded of how far behind I am, in terms of accomplishing the goals I set for myself this year. Hehehe. This is a perfect time to somehow, re-evaluate my goals (and plans) for 2012. 

Listed below are the things I want to achieve before the year ends: 

1) Learn how to cook - work in progress :)

2) Eat less, move more

3) Read more

4) Lose weight! 

5) Look for a job I will love

6) Live healthy

7) Be more positive

Keep Calm and Carry On

It is hard to stay calm and composed when faced with a situation when fighting back and being rude were an easier option. I'm sooooooooo happy I kept calm and I carried on (I'm so happy, can you count the 'Os'? Hehehe).  Just to give you a quick background, Keep Calm and Carry On was a poster produced by the Government of the United Kingdom in 1939 during the beginning of the Second World War, intended to raise the morale of the of British Public in the event of invasion (Source: Wikipedia).

And to quote Dalai Lama, "choose to be optimistic, it feels better".

I am a C traveler!

I came across Pinaytraveljunkie blog while searching for our long-overdue 'summer' getaway.. hehehe.  I was eventually led to "Lakbayan" and was curious to find out how I'll fare so I took the 'test'. :)

Instagram-ed! :)

I was finally able to download Instagram using my sister's ipod.  Thanks Patty! :p Informal settlers yung mga photos ko sa ipod nya kasi wala akong ipod. hehehe.  I'll be bothering her in the next couple of weeks (or months) everytime I'll upload my Instagram-ed photos!

Ano daw?!?

I was on my way home from work the other night and I was sitting beside 2 call center agents in the train.
The two girls were talking so loud I couldn't help but hear what they were talking about.

Girl1:  Nakakainis talaga si TL! Nag-away nga kami kanina eh.  Sigawan talaga! As in!!!!!
Girl2:  Talaga? Anong nangyari?
Girl1:  Minura-mura ako! Kesyo ganyan- ganyan. Pinatulan ko na talaga!  Sabi ko nga kay Tonyo, "Ikaw Tonyo, lumayo-layo ka dyan kay TL!  Baka mahawa ka sa ugali nyan!  Alam mo naman diba?  Birds of the same feather, come together!"

Huwaaaatttt?? Ang labooooo!!!!

The Dinosaur Master

I was hearing mass this morning and a little girl caught my attention.  She was doing something 'interesting'...  I pointed the girl to the Dinosaur Master beside me.  He had 3 words for the little girl... SWOOP. SCOOP. PULL. Hahaha! :p  Thanks for the tip Dinosaur Master. :)
